Expressions of Interest - Circle of Security Classroom

The Circle of Security Classroom (COSC) Approach is a professional development program designed to enhance early childhood educators' ability to build secure, supportive relationships with children. It draws on attachment theory to equip educators with skills to understand and respond to children's emotional needs, fostering a positive and secure learning environment.  It supports educators to look beyond behaviour management approaches to see the ways attachment needs are communicated by behaviours.

CoS Classroom aligns with the Professional Standards 4.1, 4.3, 6.2, 6.3, 7.3, 7.4 at a Proficient Teacher Level

For early childhood educators, this course is for individuals wanting to excel in NQS 5 – Relationships with Children

This course aligns with the Queensland Kindy Uplift funding priority area 2 Social and Emotional Learning.
