Hi there! I’m Brooke - your community development and engagement specialist. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m passionate about working with communities to create inclusive, meaningful change. With over 15 years experience across education, government, and the not-for-profit sector, I’ve led programs that built capacity, strengthened partnerships, and created real social impact.
With a unique blend of qualifications in social science, teaching, and training, I bring deep expertise in community capacity building, stakeholder engagement, partnership development and project management.

The Journey
Common Ground Community Consulting started with an ending.
When I was made redundant from my community development leader role, I left behind one of the greatest and most dedicated teams I had ever worked with, and a legacy of lasting change. Through that journey of walking alongside communities, listening deeply and creating something meaningful together, I realised that what I had learned, built, and loved doing could reach beyond one team or organisation.
That ending sparked the beginning of Common Ground Community Consulting.
At Common Ground, I can keep doing the work I care deeply about: empowering communities, fostering inclusion, and supporting families to thrive. It’s a space where I bring my skills, experience, and heart to supporting communities to create lasting, local impact.
Why an olive branch? Well, because my grandmother's name was Olive.
And because every ending holds the seeds of a new beginning.
